Tesselaar Tulip Festival & Jacky Cheung concert
Monday, 8 October 2007

On Friday, a couple of us decided to visit the annual tulip festival this Sunday. So after taking the train and changing 2 different buses, we finally arrival at the other part of Mt Dandenong for the great show ahead. After paying the entrance fee, our eyes were fed with the most colourful and amazing flowers you will see. Me and Kit taking a pic near the entrance.

There were so many varieties of flowers and all of them were blooming. Me and Ash were so crazy about the flowers that we want to take photo with every single one of them.

While the rest of the gang were busy taking pics of the flowers, I was also having lots of fun with this cute windmill. As we all know, the famous tulips came from Holland. So how can there be no windmills for such a festive.

What we saw at the entrance were just appetizers. Awaiting for us was a huge sea of tulips with all sorts of colours you can ever imagine. Yellow, pink, white, red, purple, mixed colours etc. It was such a beautiful sight and somewhat breath taking.

I'm a little crazy about flowers so try to imagine how i reacted after I saw the whole piece of land cover with tulips. It just makes you feel so much happier and more relax.

There was this whole row of red tulips that look like they were on fire if you see them from far. How could I ever resist taking any pictures with them. Don't they just look lovely.

How can the trip end without a photo with my dar. He's learning to use a camera to do a self shot. Not too bad right? hahahahaha..

Before we left, i spotted this breed of tulips where it really remind me of candles. The petals are red at the bottom and it turn yellow as it reaches the top. Doesn't it look like a flame on a candle?

On our way out, we saw this 'fairy land', where it was artificially created with Gnomes, Fairies and cute little houses, bridges and windows. I also bought myself a bunch of tulips before we head home.

I just came back from Jacky Cheung's concert. It was ok though i expected quite a bit more from him since he's a seasoned performer. I really love his songs and the concert was well planned but was spoiled by a certain group of people from the crowd.
