Finally, the movie Avatar is here! After seeing the thriller and reading so much good reviews on it, couldn't wait to catch it.
Me and dar caught the 3D version. Though the movie lasted for almost 2. 5 hours, i personally did not felt that it was such a long movie. I just couldn't get enough of it! Maybe it was the Na'vi's or Pandora or the non-stop action or just the combination of everything plus the CGI making it really really exciting and very very watchable.
A highly recommended film to catch it on the big screen.

Darling's Birthday
Sunday 20 December 2009

It was Dar's birthday yesterday. We had a small celebration at home during our weekly family dinner on Thursday.
Birthday cake from Chocz bought by my MIL.

Here's the birthday boy.
This year is rather special because we have both been 'upgraded' to be parents.

Learning to Cope
Thursday 10 December 2009

2 weeks into motherhood and I gotta admit its not easy. Putting aside the needs of the baby, I still need to learn to cope with other issues and demands.

Although baby constantly need attention like feeding her, changing diapers or sometime just a little cuddle to calm her down, i'm definitely enjoying every moment with her even if it means waking up at 3am in the morning to feed her.

But its the other things that is happening along the way that is getting on my nerves. Like a whole gang of people giving their opinion on what to do, how to do. It's just so irritating!!! Yes, I know all these people have accumulated some sort of experience in bringing up a baby/child but its how they expect you to just follow their way. To make matter worse, you need to reject or learn to say no in a politically correct manner. Ha, who would expect having a new addition in a family would link to building up your 'politically correct' skill.

And last I check, new born spend a large amount of time sleeping. Now that qiqi is 2 weeks old, she is also getting more and more sensitive to her surroundings. So please, don't expect the baby to be up and awake everytime someone comes home so she can play with them. So please don't wake her up on purpose so she can play 5 minutes with you and you just walk off and I will need to get her back to sleep again which is not getting easier as she grows!!!!!

My Princess..
Thursday 3 December 2009

I know I have not been updating my blog but its all because of the arrival of my princess QiQi!!
She will be a week old tomorrow. Although there are plenty of sleepless nights and many worries about her (although most of it are just common symptoms on new borns), its all worth it!
Here are some pics of her to share with everyone.
This is her a couple of hours after she was born.

Second day in the hospital. Nurses commented that she can suckle very well.

This was taken yesterday while she was sleeping. Couldn't resist taking this pic because she look so peaceful.

Lastly, her daddy took this pic a few minutes ago. Ok, let me self indulge in a bit, but i think she is so so beautiful(ya, i know all parents think their children are the most beautiful). I just cannot get enough of her!!! Love her so much!
