My 26th Birthday
Friday 20 November 2009

I believe this should be my most uneventful birthday. Am too heavy and clumsy to go out and have fun. So on the eve of my birthday, Dar bought me a ice cream cake from swenson. A small surprise since he intended to buy it on the AD itself.

Since I spent most of my birthday eve at my mum's place, I didn't know the pretty girls in my office actually sent me a surprise. I had a surprise when i open up the fridge on my birthday to find a birthday cake from them. They actually got someone to deliver over to my place!!!
How sweet is that! If only my boss is half as nice as my colleagues....

My biggest wish this year is for my bb to be happy and healthy! Can't wait to see her.
Very very soon...

Mr Girlfriend is an Agent
Tuesday 17 November 2009

After my weekly check up at the gynae, dar suggested we go catch a movie since bb will be due anytime now and we might be too busy to catch one in the next few months.
A comedy usually won't go wrong. And on a side note, it has been like donkey years since I have caught a movie at 6 bucks..

Show was really funny. The leading actor was really the one that brought everything together. I think his performance outshine the leading actress. Dar say the movie reminded him of 'Get Smart'. Yeah, its sort of like the Asian version of that movie.

Finally.. I can rest
Monday 9 November 2009

Finally!!! It has been the break that I have been waiting for. I'm officially on maternity leave from now on. I can now rest and be ready and prepared for my little angel's arrival.
What better way to do so by having a great meal!!

Dar knew I was missing good korean food since we were back from Melb. Somehow i have never came across any place that sell good korean cuisine except the one in Suntec. So, we found this place with some rather good reviews online and we decided to try it out today.
We started out our lunch with 6 different side dishes. Great varieties and tastes good.

I order an ice lemon tea. I find it very refreshing and very good. Cause not only was it home made, they actually had bits and pieces of lemon plup and skin for you to chew on and its not sour at all.

Dar soup came first. It was a spicybean paste soup with potatoes and pork ribs. This is like the best main dish among the rest that we ordered.

I have this thing for the spicy tofu and seafood soup. Back in Melb, there was this restaurant called 'The Oriental Spoon' that serve a really wicked and very very tasty version of this soup which since then I have been using it as a benchmark.
Was rather disappointed with this one. Could do with a little more spice.

The didn't had the BBQ prok belly, so we ordered the alternative - The grilled version. Very average and if its not for the special salt and pepper sauce, its really not that nice.

All in all, I was a little disappointed maybe because the online positive reviews had made me expect more out from them. And because its near the katong area, parking was a nightmare especially on a Sunday afternoon.
