Before I start crashing for my exams, i decided to give myself a treat - A trip to Phillip Island to see the smallest penguin on Earth. Before we head out to the island, we stop over at the Warook Cattle Farm. I was quite surprise at how active this wombat was, busy munching away the veges. Most of the time wombats are always sleeping.

This farm also has another attraction. You can actually touch and feed the kangaroos. I was a bit timid so i don't really dare to go near them although they are pretty harmless.

Dar, much braver. He was giving this kangaroo a pat, when I suggested he takes a pic with it. He say the fur is really soft, too bad I was too scared to touch it.

Next, we head over to the Koala Conservatory Centre. By the way, koalas are marsupia. They are not related to the bears so don't call them koala bears. There was this 'huge koala' right in front of the entrance to the Centre that I can't resist taking a photo with it.

There is only one male koala in the conservatory because they need know who father the joeys during mating season, so keeping one male makes the tracking process easier. See our handsome dad below!!

He was also very active, climbing one tree to another looking for food.

We finally arrived at Phillip Island at 5pm. Time is crucial as the penguins will start swimming towards the beach and start their long walk home via the beach as soon as its dark. So, we had to be there before the sun set. The penguins were so cute and they were really very small. Unfortunately, no one was allowed to take photos or video because the flash will scare the penguins so much that they will 'vomit' out the food, causing them to starve
It was quite an amazing sight if it wasn't so cold and wet.

It been a long time since i had so much fun with my friends. We went out to Campberwell for Italian to celebrate one of our classmates bday. The food was good and it was real cheap. After dinner, it was time to whip out our cameras to take some pics. Since this is our last sem together, we wanted to take as much pics as we could before we say our goodbyes in a month time.
This is Duke. One of the nicest and friendliest guy in class and he always reminds me of a teddy bear. Warm, cute and cuddly.. hehe..

I'm gonna miss her a lot when i'm back home. Me and Celine has been through all the stress for our assignments together and she is an excellent groupmate/friend. I'm so going to save up and go Taiwan for holidays and look for her!!

After dinner, we head over to Duke's place for drinks and cake. I made a bday cake for the bday girl. hehe.. it looks a bit ugly but i've already try my best to beautify it

Things have been rough lately. I'm stress out and not feeling quite like myself. So, i decided to catch one of the most famous girly series that was made into a movie: Sex and the City. I have watch all 6 seasons and its a really nice series, specially made for the girls.

The movie turns out to be a great watch. It was better than i expected and i just love the shoes and fashion in it (although, at times i do feel that it's an advert with a storyline for Gucci, LV, Chanel etc). But still, it was great. I would definitely recommend the ladies to watch it, even if you didn't catch the series on HBO. Go with your girlfriends and i think u will enjoy it more.
One more thing, when i was watching the movie, 3 very special ladies came into my thoughts and i just wish that we could be like Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda in the years to come. I just like to thank them for who they are and just being there for me when i need them.

I'm not too sure why but i have been feeling unhappy and upset lately. There are so many things that are not going as planned. I hate the feeling of losing control, although there are many things in life that we can't change. I know in 6 weeks time, i will be back home. Things will never be the same again with a new job, new life and new relationships. But i'm not sure if i like it?
i just feel like i have to play the games/politics everyday. its so sickening and tiring. i just want to live my life the way i want it, but why is it so difficult??

You can take me out of Singapore, but not the Singapore out of me.

There is a reason why Singapore though small, is an effective and efficient country. Although we do pay our price for that as well.
