Luxembourg National Day, 23rd June

I wanted to blog this out couple of days back but my stupid laptop started to go crazy and I just cannot access my IE. Anyway, office was involved with organising a reception to celebrate Luxembourg's National Day on Wednesday. It was held at Meritus Mandarin.
We were given permission to leave early so we could go down to the hotel to prepare and have some small bite before we started work.
I especially love this flower arrangement!
My job for the evening was to be in attendance to one of the MP, Mr Inderjit Singh who was invited as one of the VIP to grace the event. This is the first time that I'm given such responsibilities and i learn quite a great deal as in turn out there is a standard protocol for such roles.
The hotel gave the host a cake to celebrate the event. After the VIPs have left, we could start enjoying the food but I wasn't even hungry. Very tired though. Both my feet were having cramps after spending hours standing. Well, the evening went on smoothly and it gave me an opportunity to learn more and get to know my colleagues better.
